The Institut Louis Bachelier will pay tribute to André Lévy-Lang, its President and founder, who passed away on 8 August 2026.

This evening will celebrate the vision, commitment, and extraordinary legacy of a man who devoted much of his life to bringing together academic research and the worlds of economics and finance. Through the reflections of those who knew and worked alongside him, we will look back on his remarkable journey, his convictions, and the ambition he instilled in the Institut Louis Bachelier since its creation.

More than a tribute, this gathering will be a moment of remembrance and shared reflection, true to the values André Lévy-Lang always championed: intellectual curiosity, dialogue, and the pursuit of the common good.
