As part of the Conversations À Venir series, Enrico Letta — former President of the Council of Ministers of Italy, President of the Jacques Delors Institute, and author of the landmark report on the future of the Single Market submitted to the European Council — will deliver an exceptional keynote entitled “European Competitiveness and Sovereignty: What Future for the Single Market?”
Against a backdrop of geopolitical tensions, the digital transition and economic sovereignty challenges, he will share his vision of the reforms needed to strengthen Europe’s competitiveness and make the Single Market a true driver of economic power, innovation and prosperity. His report notably calls for greater integration of strategic sectors and more ambitious mobilisation of European investment capacity.
His address will be followed by a roundtable discussion bringing together researchers and professionals to further explore these issues and discuss the future prospects of the European project.
