Dr. Marshall Ganz (Harvard Kennedy School) is one of the world’s leading voices on public narrative, leadership, and civic organizing.
From the Mississippi Freedom Summer to the farmworkers’ movement, from Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign to Zohran Mamdani’s remarkable 2025 municipal campaign in New York, his work has helped shape some of the most significant civic mobilizations of our time.
His methodological framework — “Story of Self, Story of Us, Story of Now” — is now used by leaders, NGOs, social movements, and institutions around the world.
