Focusing on reversibility to achieve digital sovereignty
The true guarantee of resilience and an ability to address digital sovereignty challenges lies in maintaining full control over information systems, whatever happens. In this context, the issue of reversibility—meaning avoiding dependency on technology providers—has become critical.
This is why we have chosen this topic as the central theme of the 2026 edition of AM Tech Day. Of course, all other technological transformations within asset management firms will also be addressed, with new dedicated tracks tailored to participants’ profiles.
More specifically, we will offer four main thematic areas dedicated to asset management: Compliance & Security, Distribution, Platforms & Blockchain, AI Innovation & Performance, and a dedicated space for investment leaders.
Surrounded by leading professionals from the asset management industry, we will address key questions such as:
How can we modernise and streamline access to collective investment management?
What opportunities does blockchain now offer?
How can AI agents help business experts drive innovation?
Where are the breakthrough innovations that will shape tomorrow’s investment leaders?
How can we improve resilience against cyber risks, as asset management becomes an increasingly targeted sector?
Another new feature this year: we are also integrating transformations on the sell-side. A dedicated Trading and Execution space will be introduced, offering an opportunity to analyse the implications of the reduction of the securities settlement cycle in Europe, scheduled for October 2027.
Don’t miss the 17th edition of AM Tech Day, on 3 November at the Palais Brongniart in Paris. Register now!
