Le 16 octobre 2025, l'ILB vous invite, en partenariat avec FactSet, à un événement consacré aux réalisations concrètes de l’intelligence artificielle en matière d'impact environnemental, avec un focus sur le secteur financier. Au programme : retour d'expérience de l'équipement d'excellence Pladifes, échanges d’experts sur les usages actuels de l’IA et les perspectives futures et présentation de solutions implémentées et utilisées.

Préambule

L'intelligence artificielle et la transition environnementale font couler beaucoup d'encre depuis quelques années. Ces deux sujets sont interconnectés, mais les conséquences long terme de cette connexion est sujette à de vifs désaccords, y compris parmi les experts. L'IA peut-elle contribuer et accélérer l'agenda de la lutte contre le changement climatique, ou bien accéléra-t-elle au contraire le réchauffement? Au-delà des idées reçues et des lieux communs, cet événement sera l'occasion pour des praticiens de tous milieux (privé, académique, associatif et publique) de partager leurs travaux concrets et leur analyse de l'impact réel estimé de l'IA.

La discussion sera modérée par Marie Brière, Head of Investor Intelligence chez Amundi et Directrice scientifique du FaiR – Institut Louis Bachelier.

Artificial intelligence and environmental transition have been the subject of much discussion in recent years. These two topics are interconnected, but the long-term consequences of this connection are the subject of heated debate, even among experts. Can AI contribute to and accelerate the agenda for combating climate change, or will it actually accelerate global warming? Beyond preconceived notions and clichés, this event will be an opportunity for practitioners from all backgrounds (private, academic, non-profit, and public) to share their concrete work and their analysis of the estimated real impact of AI.

Join Juliette Fropier, Project Manager for Artificial Intelligence and Ecological Transition at the Ministry of Ecology, Energy and Territories, Alice Froidevaux, Director of Product Development at QuantCub, Théophile Lenoir, Head of the Observatory on the Environmental Impact of AI at the AI and Society Institute, and Mandy Chung, Director of Sustainable Investment Solutions at FactSet, as they discuss the present as it is being built and the future that is taking shape around these topics.
