The Good in Tech research network, in collaboration with CGI, is organising a series of conferences on the use of Artificial Intelligence in human resources. The first event on 16 November 2022 looked at the threats and opportunities associated with the use of AI in human resources. On 29 June, Good in Tech and CGI will once again be joining forces to discuss the challenges of responsible practices in the use of artificial intelligence-based tools in the recruitment process.

The use of automated recruitment systems is becoming increasingly popular in the human resources sector. Such solutions enable HR departments to process a large number of applications while selecting candidates more efficiently for the final interview stages.

AI-based recruitment tools hold a lot of promise: they save time, reduce recruitment bias, etc. But they also raise a number of issues: How do these tools impact on the HR profession? What are the risks of bias and discrimination? What responsible practices should be adopted?
At this conference, specialists in the field, researchers and professionals from the sector will set out the issues and controversies surrounding these questions.

The final session will be devoted to a round-table discussion in which a number of stakeholders in the recruitment sector will discuss the practical use of AI-based recruitment tools and the responsible practices that need to be put in place.
