The Institut Louis Bachelier, its founding members, its President Bertrand Badré, Vice President Natacha Valla, Vice President Jean Berthon, and Chairman of the Scientific and Expert Council Pierre-Louis Lions are pleased to invite you to the inaugural conference of the PARC foundation (Paris Agreement Research Commons), which will take place on February 26 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Collège de France (11 Place Marcelin Berthelot, 75005 Paris).

Objective of the conference :

During this in-person event, you will discover the goals and key projects of PARC in advancing academic and applied research in green and sustainable finance, as well as the interoperability of associated databases both in France and internationally. The discussions will be opened by Bertrand Badré, President of the foundation, and Natacha Valla, Vice President. They will be followed by a roundtable discussion, bringing together renowned academics and experts, focusing on priorities in the field of green and sustainable finance.

    • 17:00: Introduction and presentation of PARC by Bertrand Badré.

    • 17:45: Presentation of ILB Labs and the Observatory for Sustainable Finance affiliated with PARC.

    • 17:55: Presentation of the scientific council and experts by Pierre Louis Lions (Professor at Collège de France).

    • 18:00: Panel discussion on “Priorities in Green Finance Research“, moderated by Anne-Catherine Husson (Novethic) with Jean Boissinot (Banque de France), Anthony Briant (Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech), Jézabel Couppey-Soubeyran (Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Chair Energy & Prosperity), Mathieu Garnero (ADEME), Isabelle Laudier (CDC), Maud Thomas (Institut des actuaires), Peter Tankov (ENSAE, PARC).

    • 19:00: Conclusion by Jean-Michel Beacco (Institut Louis Bachelier) and Natacha Valla (Sciences-Po).
