ESSEC and the Institut Louis Bachelier forge a strategic academic partnership for 2026–2029

The Institut Louis Bachelier (ILB) and ESSEC Business School have formalized a three-year academic partnership agreement (2026–2029), marking a new milestone in strengthening collaboration between scientific research, public policy, and the socio-economic sector.

Signed by Roméo Tédongap, Dean of the ESSEC Faculty, and Marie Brière, Managing Director of the ILB, this agreement aims to foster ambitious research projects and develop joint scientific initiatives.

A partnership dedicated to research excellence

Through this agreement, the two institutions will combine their expertise to support the creation and development of cutting-edge research projects, particularly in the fields of:

• economics;

• finance;

• artificial intelligence;

• economic, environmental, and digital transitions.

The partnership also includes the co-organization of conferences, seminars, and scientific events to encourage dialogue between researchers, public policymakers, and economic stakeholders.

On the academic side, this collaboration is led at ESSEC by Professor Fulop Andras.

A call for projects open to researchers

As part of this collaboration, researchers are invited to apply to the currently open ILB / Europlace Institute of Finance call for projects.
