As part of the Conversations À Venir series, the Institut Louis Bachelier and the BNP Paribas Foundation are pleased to host Enrico Letta for an exclusive keynote address on the future of the European Single Market.

As a former Prime Minister of Italy, President of the Jacques Delors Institute, and author of the landmark report on the future of the Single Market presented to the European Council, Enrico Letta will share his vision for the reforms needed to strengthen Europe's competitiveness and sovereignty.

A debate at the heart of European issues

Faced with geopolitical tensions, the accelerating digital transition, and challenges to economic sovereignty, Europe is being called upon to rethink its growth model and investment capacity.

In his talk titled "European Competitiveness and Sovereignty: What Future for the Single Market?", Enrico Letta will present the key findings of his report, which advocates for greater integration of strategic sectors, improved mobilization of European funding, and the strengthening of the Single Market as a driver of innovation, economic power, and prosperity.

The keynote will be followed by a panel discussion featuring researchers and professionals to further the conversation and open the floor to the audience on the future prospects of the European project.
