The Institut Louis Bachelier is a partner of the 17th edition of AM Tech Day, organised by L’Agefi on Tuesday, 3 November 2026 at the Palais Brongniart in Paris. The event will bring together asset management professionals to discuss the sector’s technological transformation, with a central theme: “Enabling Reversibility to Achieve Digital Sovereignty.”

Reversibility: a key to resilience

How can firms retain control of their IT systems amid growing dependence on technology providers? This question will be at the heart of the 2026 edition.

Reversibility—the ability to switch solutions or providers while maintaining business continuity—is a strategic issue for asset management firms. Discussions will explore ways to strengthen their technological autonomy, resilience and ability to adapt their systems.

Dedicated tracks on the transformation of asset management

This edition will feature tracks tailored to participants’ roles and priorities, covering compliance and cybersecurity, distribution, platforms and blockchain, artificial intelligence, innovation and performance, and investment leadership.

Participants will discuss topics including the use of AI agents, modernising access to collective investment, blockchain applications and responses to cyber risks.

A dedicated Trading and Execution area will also broaden the discussion to changes affecting market participants, highlighting the operational challenges of shortening the securities settlement cycle.
