Econometrics of duration models and applications to labor market transitions.

Summary This thesis presents econometric analyses of transitions between different labor market states such as employment, unemployment and inactivity. We emphasize the importance of introducing non-stationarity in the modeling of labor market transitions. We obtain estimates on samples extracted from the INSEE employment surveys.
